Technology Day is a full day devoted to the celebration of technology in the fields of teaching and learning.  Held once a year during the spring semester, Tech Day is an FIT event, sponsored by IT for FIT and hosted and designed by The Technology Development Team (TDT).  The day is free for FIT Admin, Faculty, Staff, and Students and Alumni with Valid ID.  Tech Day is open to the public for a fee of $25 dollars payable by check or credit card before the day of the event or by check only on the day of the event. 

Who Attends Tech Day?
Technology Day participants are not only faculty, staff and students of FIT but also include professionals from the surrounding SUNY, CUNY and private higher education community.    We are delighted to report that thanks to our sponsors, Tech Day 2008 was a huge success! We are hoping to draw participation from the same target audience in 2009 including: teachers, students, artists, designers, and technologists.

Technology Week  is a week of training, workshops and presentations given by TDT members and FIT faculty and staff.   Usually held either the week before or immediately after Tech Day.
