Mac: Beyond the Basics

This session is for users who have already mastered the basics of navigating the Mac OS and are looking to learn some more advanced features. Participants will:

 

-learn to install and manage fonts

-take a more in depth look at System Preferences, including display settings and internet sharing

-learn to how to burn files to CD’s or DVD’s

-examine Dashboard’s functions and install “widgets”

-use Time Machine to back up your system

-discuss some new features in Mac OS 10.7 Lion and a broad overview of the iLife applications

 

Prerequisite: The “Mac OS Basics” class or a working knowledge of the Mac OS is required for this class.
