Graduated from the Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science in 1961, with a B.S. in Fabric Design

MA, New York University
 
Worked in New York until 1970 and then in Mexico City until 1973, mainly as a Stylist/Technician of woven Jacquard and Dobby fabrics both flat and pile, for upholstery and drapery, both residential and contract.
Returned to the U.S. to teach at F.I.T. in the Textile Development and Marketing Department in 1973, teaching Woven Fabric Technology as well as Basic Textiles.
