President/CEO 1970-1999 of Morris Button Company, Inc., Solko Textile, JA Novelty Company, New York, New York.  Developed and managed a diversified garment center business with over 100 employees. Responsible for all aspects of the manufacturing process utilizing industrial engineering Production procedures.   Worked closely with Design Departments to create innovative functional and fashionable concepts which could be manufactured quickly and economically.  This would include the compatibility of the fabrics to various applications And treatments on garments. Oversaw all financial aspects of the business. This would include securing lines of credit and alleviating cash flow problems while monitoring payroll. 

Served on Pleators & Stitchers Association.  Negotiated labor contracts and disputes with UNITE (union).

In 1999, began teaching at FIT for the Production Management Department.  The year 2000 brought me to the Textile Development & Marketing Department.  My strength is teaching textiles from the garment perspective.  I would like my students to leave my class with both practical knowledge from exposure to industry as well as a solid foundation in textiles and development of product.
