Educational Background:
BA from Thomas Edison college
of NJ, and continued in post grad toward a MA in
International Relations at Farleigh Dickinson University in
N.J. He has received two Certificates of Achievement
in Knits from FIT. |

Thomas A Kenney has been a
adjunct instructor in the Textile Development and Marketing
Department since the Fall 1998 semester. He brings over
40 years of marketing experience both in the Textile and
Apparel Retail Industries where he served in marketing and
sales capacities of Textile Weaving and Knitting Mills and
the fiber companies of Beaunit Fibers and American Viscose.
In the Retail Apparel Industry he has been a General Manager
of a family owned firm as well as Manager of Quality
Assurance and In-house Consultant at Talbot's, a national
retail and catalogue chain. He has presented papers at
several industry seminars, published in industry magazines
and guest speaker at sales meetings and luncheon. He is a
member of The American Arbitration Association, past member
of the Consumer Advocacy Board of Rockland Electric, Past
Commander of the non-profit United States Power Squadron. He
lectured in the Army, and at Talbot's and is a member and
tutor of Literacy Volunteers of America. |
