In 1960, After spending four years as an officer in the
United States Navy, I joined one of the largest and more
successful textile converting operations, Cohn Hall Marx.
In 1969 I went out on my own as an owner of an Independent Textile
Converter in New York City, Innovative
Textiles. I closed the company in 2000. The business thrived
because we made and sold very innovative fabrics, both
printed and plain, to the manufacturers making women's dress
and sportswear garments. At present, I am teaching, giving
seminars, and consulting on textile issues. |
