What is it about?
FIT Words provides a community for FIT students who want to
take their writing outside the classroom. Writers (and
readers) of poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, and other
genres can meet to discuss their work in progress, start new
pieces, and get expert advice. Members learn elements
of the writing craft and the basics of the publishing
process from guest speakers who are published authors and
editors. The club publishes an anthology each year of the
members' poems, stories and essays. Whether they see
writing as a future career or an enriching part of their
lives, aspiring writers will find a place to share and grow
together.
