What is it about?
Residence Hall Community Council was created by and for the
residents of the Fashion Institute of Technology and exists
to to promote productive communication between the residents
and campus administration. To represent the concerns
of all residents through elected representatives who act as
a liaison between the residents, Residential Life staff and
campus administration. To encourage and facilitate
student involvement in all aspects of the college experience
focusing on programming, community building and community
outreach. To increase resident involvement in the
policy decision-making within the residence halls. To
provide an environment, within the residence halls, that is
conducive to the personal growth of all students. To
provide events open to all FIT students, both residence and
commuters.
