After interviews and roundtable discussions that identified key challenges and opportunities FIT will face over the next decade, the Strategic Planning Steering Committee has established eleven special planning committees. On February 16, 2005, President Brown charged the committees, asking participants to address specific strategic challenges.

Each committee has a chair and co-chair and includes members of the college’s faculty, staff, and administration, as well as Steering Committee representatives.

A Cross-cutting Resource group has been created. It is comprised of FIT employees whose experience extends across the work of all the committees. These individuals are available to provide assistance during the strategic-planning process.
