Who We Are

The Snow Club is one of many  FIT Student Association (FITSA)'s clubs/organizations sponsored by the Department of Student Life of the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT).

The purpose of the Snow Club is to encourage outdoor winter activities for Students at FIT. Depending on current student interests, these include skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snow-shoeing, and ice-skating.

Originally called the Ski Club, we have reconstituted ourselves as the Snow Club because it does not matter what you ride, so long as you have fun while on snow or ice.

Our activities begin late in the Fall semester with a 'Winter Welcome' day-trip to a local ski/snowboard area. We then usually take one day-trip a month for the rest of the season. We have also taken one week-end trip a year to ski areas in Vermont. Trips begin and end in front of C Building, here at FIT. There is a small fee per student per trip.

Visit us at Club Carnival in September and come to our club meetings. Check our Calendar page for times and dates for our meetings and trips.
