What is the minimum number of guests required to be considered a group for Summer Conference Housing?

Who should I contact?

A group must consist of 10 or more members.

Submit a written proposal to summerhousing@fitnyc.edu or contact (212)217-3943 with the name of group/company, dates of stay, and number of guests.

 

What residence halls are available for groups?

Alumni & Coed Hall are available from May 25th, 2009  – July 22nd, 2009

Kaufman hall is available from May 25th, 2009 – August 1st, 2009

 

What furniture is provided in the suite?

All suites consist of furnished rooms, kitchens and private bath. All traditional style rooms consist of shared baths and do not have kitchens.  If you are in a suite you must provide your own kitchen supplies, linens, and pillows and blankets.  Click here to view pictures of the rooms

 

Where is FIT located and is it accessible to public transportation?

FIT is conveniently located in midtown Manhattan near all public transportation, restaurants and shoppingWe are walking distance from Penn Station, Madison Square Garden, Broadway, Macy*s, Jacob Javis Center, etc…

What are the Group rates?

What is the minimum age requirement in order to stay at the residence hall?

All guests must be at least 18 years old. If they are under 18 years old, they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during their entire stay in the residence halls

 

Is the cafeteria opened during the summer sessions?

No, however we are conveniently located close to many restaurants, delis, and grocery stores.  Click here to view the FIT neighborhood.

 

Will there be a gym facility on campus?

Yes, there are gyms at both our 27th street and 31st campuses.  Both will be open limited hours during the

summer.

 

How do I get to FIT and is it accessible to public transportation?

FIT is conveniently located in midtown Manhattan near all public transportation, restaurants and shoppingWe

May I have guests visit me in the residence halls?

Yes, you may have guests visit you in the residence halls.  There is limited overnight visitation during the summer
