What is the minimum number of guests required to be considered
a group for Summer Conference Housing?
Who should I

A group must consist of 10 or more members.
Submit a written proposal to
summerhousing@fitnyc.edu
or contact (212)217-3943 with the name of group/company,
dates of stay, and number of guests.
What residence halls are available for groups?
Alumni & Coed Hall are available from May 25th,
2009 – July 22nd, 2009
Kaufman hall is available from May 25th, 2009 –
August 1st, 2009
What furniture is provided in the suite?
All suites consist of furnished rooms, kitchens and private
bath. All traditional style rooms consist of shared baths
and do not have kitchens. If you are in a suite you must
provide your own kitchen supplies, linens, and pillows and

Where is FIT located and is it accessible to public
transportation?
FIT is conveniently located in midtown Manhattan near all
public transportation, restaurants and shopping. We
are walking distance from Penn Station, Madison Square
Garden, Broadway, Macy*s, Jacob Javis Center, etc…

What are the Group rates?
Rates are based on length of stay and number of guests.

What is the minimum age requirement in order to stay at
the residence hall?
All guests must be at least 18 years old. If they are under
18 years old, they must be accompanied by a parent or
guardian during their entire stay in the residence halls
Is the cafeteria opened during the summer sessions?
No, however we are conveniently located close to many
restaurants, delis, and grocery stores. Click

Will there be a gym facility on campus?
Yes, there are gyms at both our 27th street and
31st campuses. Both will be open limited hours
during the
summer.
How do I get to FIT and is it accessible to public
transportation?
FIT is conveniently located in midtown Manhattan near all

are walking distance from Penn Station, Madison Square

May I have guests visit me in the residence halls?
Yes, you may have guests visit you in the residence halls.
There is limited overnight visitation during the summer
requiring a $10 overnight fee, per night, per person. For
