DEGREE AUDITS
A degree audit is a computer based assessment showing the progress a
student is making toward meeting degree requirements. The degree audit
takes into account the major requirements, transfer credit, completed
courses and courses in progress.
If you
have questions about your graduation status or any of the information
contained on the degree audit and would like to speak to a Registrar,
bring a printed copy of the degree audit to
graduation advisement.
ENROLLMENT VERIFICATION
The Registrar's Office verifies student enrollment at FIT.
Students often need this verification for health insurance, or
reimbursement of tuition by an employer, or many other reasons as well.
All requests for this information should be made in
Room C-158. To verify past
enrollment at FIT, you may also request a
transcript.
GRADES
End of term grades are available to students via the
online student information system shortly after the completion of each term. If there is a
question about a final grade, the student must resolve the issue
directly with the instructor who taught the course. If a change of grade is
authorized by the instructor, the change of grade will be submitted
directly from the academic department to the Registrar’s Office.
GRADUATION PROCEDURES
This encompasses the services related to a students progress toward
earning a degree, including graduation advisement, providing the degree
audit, certifying the final degree and issuing the diploma.

history in the form of a transcript. The official record can be
requested by completing the transcript request form. An unofficial
record can be accessed by the student through the
online student
information system.
TRANSFER CREDIT EVALUATION
All transfer credits are approved and posted to the student record by
the Registrar’s Office. Liberal arts transfer credits are evaluated and
approved by the Registrar's Office in consultation with appropriate
liberal arts departments if necessary. Major or related area transfer
credits are evaluated and approved by the major department. Students
should contact the major department upon their initial arrival on campus
to arrange an appointment for a review of major courses for possible
