8, 2005 - Production Management presentation held on Career Day at the High
School of Fashion Industries.
Prof. Ari Vega presented the Production Management Department curriculum and
career opportunities. The students and instructors attending the
presentation had many questions and requested more information on how to enroll
into the program. With the many opportunities that the Production
Management offers in their curriculum, students seeking careers opportunities in
Production Management will find that there are wide variety of positions here in
New York City and around the world.
The High School of Fashion Industries (show on the picture above) is located at
225 West 24th Street in the heart of New York City. It's principal Ms.
Hilda Nieto, was elated to see a great turn out of approximately 50 presenters
for this occasion and mentioned how excited she was with the newly scheduled
format. The
format for career day was based on the following:
- The presenters past 13 years experiences
- Utilizations of 40-minutes presentations
- 10-15 minutes for questions
- Three morning sessions at 9:40, 10:25 and 11:20
- Literature on career opportunities and company
brochures
