To register for a class that requires
special permission (i.e. one with required
pre-requisites, co-requisites or other restrictions),
have a 'Special Registration Approval Form' signed in
the department offering the course. You must register in
person for such classes.

Your registration appointment, mailed to
your home or campus address, indicates the earliest date
on which you may register by web, phone or in-person.
Appointments are assigned according to the total number
of credits accumulated. Students closest to graduation
are given priority.

If you are registering for an online
course, enrollment is a two-step process. FIRST,
register for the course at FIT. SECOND, one or two weeks
before the semester begins, go to the SLN web site at
www.slnsuny.edu to request a password for your
course (or reactivate your password if you are a
returning student) and complete the student orientation.
