Students missing any of the above will be placed on hold until the Admissions office receives an updated audit indicating corrections or summer registration.
If the courses are not completed, you WILL NOT be admitted to Bachelor’s Program.
For External Applicants
You are eligible to apply directly to the Photography BFA program if you have an associate's or bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college in a photography program precisely equivalent to FIT's Photography AAS program, or if you will have earned at least 60 credits toward a bachelor's degree at a regionally accredited college in a program precisely equivalent to FIT's Photography AAS program before your enrollment at FIT.
Your college program is precisely equivalent if it contains the same major area and liberal arts distribution as the FIT Photography AAS program. Transfer applicants from college programs that are not precisely equivalent to FIT's Photography AAS program will not be accepted in the Photography BFA program.
Please contact the Registrar for help determining if your degree is equivalent to FIT’s Photography AAS program.
