Before applying to FIT, interested students should do the
following:
- Explore the Packaging Design website.
Read about the
program, view
samples of student work and explore the
courses offered. If the courses sound exciting, this is
the major for you.
- Visit the
portfolio requirement web page.
Please note that Bachelor's Degree applicants will be notified of
requirements by mail after FIT has received the application materials.
Please be patient. If you would like to improve upon your current portfolio,
you may take classes before applying through our
School of Continuing and Professional Studies. Credit and non-credit
courses are available for portfolio development and program exploration.
- Carefully read the admissions guidelines.
The
admissions information pages are full of answers to your most common
admissions questions. If you still need more information, or you have
specific questions about a special circumstance, please call the Office of
Admissions at 212-217-7576 or attend our
GROUP INFORMATION SESSION, held weekly. (No reservation required).
For further information about the Packaging Design major at FIT, please
