If you need help doing research for class assignments, finding information or navigating your way through the Library's web site, you have several ways to get in touch with us for assistance.

Call us at the Reference Desk:  212-217-4400.  Available during library hours We can help you navigate the Digital Library or suggest materials that you can see when you can come in to the Library.

In person: Current FIT and SUNY students, faculty, staff, and administrators can come in to the library and speak to a Reference Librarian in person whenever the library is open.  The Library is located in the E building (4th, 5th, and 6th floors).  Enter on the 5th floor and walk down to the Reference Desk on the 4th floor.

How do I find articles online from a newspaper or magazine?

Look at the listings in the Digital Library [current FIT username & password required].  If you’re having trouble deciding which source to use, you can always come in to the library, call, or email us for guidance.
 

How do I find out about overdue books or overdue fines?

Use My Account through StyleCat StyleCat Logo Library Catalog  to see your loans, renewals, fines, blocks, holds.
