Q. Where can I find  specific types of information in the sources mentioned above?

A. Look for these online databases on your local or public library website:

WWD and DNR articles?
Look for Gale Business and Company Resource Center or General OneFile

New York Times articles?
Look for New York State Newspapers.

Statistics and studies on the apparel industry?
Many of the newspaper and magazine article sources mentioned above will have information on these industries. See also the FIT Library’s Internet guides Apparel Industry and Fashion on the Web, and the New York Public Library’s guide at http://www.nypl.org/research/sibl/science/apparel.
These guides may also help with find lists of companies and suppliers in the apparel and related industries.

Company profiles and articles?
Look for Business and Company Resource Center or General OneFile.
The FIT Library Internet guide Business Resources on the Web suggests additional sources of information.

Pictures / clip art / inspiration?
Image finding suggestions are available on the FIT Library’s Internet Guide Image Searching and Image collections on the Web.
