Running reports from the Brio ‘Foundation’

1. In your browser, enter the url:
   http://appsc10804/Hyperion/browse/login for production
   http://dev-c108-02:8080/Hyperion/browse for development
   You should bookmark these links.
2. Enter the server:
   appsc10804:2800 for production
   dev-c108-02:2800 for development
   Enter your userid and password. The userid is your Banner username:
   (firstname_lastname)
   
   The userid is case sensitive and should be in ALL LOWER CASE letters.
   
   The password for development is your 6-digit birthday (MMDDYY) .
   This will be changed in the near future to your LDAP password.
   
   The password for production is your LDAP network password.
   
   Click on ‘Login’ or hit enter
   Contact Customer Service at 7-HELP if you have problems logging in.
   


3. You will see on the left hand side all menus that you have access to. Click on your menu of choice. You will this see a list of reports that you have access to. To run a report, simply click on the title of the report. When the program is finished running, the ouput of the report will appear on the screen, usually in Adobe Acrobat. You need Adobe installed on your PC in order to view this! You can save the report to your desktop or C: drive by clicking the icon found on the most upper, left hand part of the Adobe toolbar. If you mouse over this icon it will say ‘Saves a copy of this file’.
   The display and view settings must be properly set for your monitor. If you have a problem viewing the menus, contact the help desk at 7-HELP.
