LAPTOP POLICIES EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY

NO LAPTOP CONNECTIONS TO FIT NETWORK WIRES
LAB POLICIES
1. NO FOOD OR DRINK IS ALLOWED AT ANY TIME
Food and liquids pose a
considerable risk to sensitive and expensive
computer equipment - they also attract rodents and insects.
2. NO CELL PHONES ARE ALLOWED
Please be respectful of
others; every student deserves a quiet, clean, and
functional environment in which to work. Cell phone calls
should be outside the lab. Please use headphones when
playing CDs, movies, or WebPages with sound.
3. VANDALISM OR THEFT OF COMPUTER EQUIPMENT
WILL BE SUBJECT TO SCHOOL
DISCIPLINARY PROCEEDINGS AND SANCTIONS
4. DURING PEAK HOURS, A 2-HOUR WORKSTATION LIMIT WILL BE
IMPOSED
5. ONLY PAPER SUPPLIED BY FIT CAN BE USED IN OUR PRINTERS
In order to ensure properly-functioning
equipment in our labs and classrooms, ICC technicians will
conduct periodic daily inspections of each classroom and
lab. Any food or drink will be confiscated and discarded.
