ACCOMMODATIONS

Option 1: La Contessina Residence Residence La Contessina is a facility that offers its clients hotel-style living accommodations and services. Students can enjoy the comforts of their own TV, telephone, internet connection and cleaning service twice a week. All apartments are overlooking the inside courtyard, apartments are divided in two levels: entrance, kitchen/living room and bathroom on the ground floor and 2-3 bedroom on the upper level. A bar/cafeteria, meeting room, reception service and courtyard are also available.

This option is recommended for students interested in being provided with specific services. In addition, this option is not recommended for students looking for a low-priced arrangement, planning to invite guests for long-term/overnight visits and to those who are not able to obey explicit rules.

Hotel Meridiana is a modern tourist-class 3-star hotel. It offers hotel-style accommodation with clean, but plain and simply furnished rooms. Students are served continental (non-American style) breakfast and dinner at the Hotel. Students are assigned to either double or triple rooms with private bathroom. Each room is furnished with two/three single beds, one desk, two/three chairs, one closet and one sink and has satellite TV, heating and air conditioning. Single rooms are limited. Lorenzo de Medici offers housing assistance services with the sole intention of facilitating the student's study abroad experience. The students therefore are not necessarily obliged to choose housing through the school service if they wish to find their own accommodation instead (see option #4).

Apartments are furnished and equipped with bed linen, basic pots and pans, kitchen utensils, washing machine and TV. Towels are generally not-included in the apartment. Although apartments are of the same standard and have similar facilities, no two apartments are alike. Apartments are suitable for minimum of 2 to maximum of 8 persons. Apartments are not all located into the the same building, but are within walking distance from the school facilities. Utilities (water, gas, electricity) are included within the housing  costs provided the consumption bills are equal or lower than the average cost determined by the real estate agency.
