INTERNATIONAL FASHION DESIGN (IFD)
in MILAN AND NEW YORK
Study in
Milan
for the third or fourth year of the program.

The FIT International Fashion Design Program in Milan
and New York is a study abroad opportunity for students who want to study fashion
design in both the U.S. and Italy. Students who are accepted into upper division can
complete the two-year program and receive a
Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Because of the
international dimension, the two-year program
requires the student to reside in Milan for one year,
studying in English at the
Politecnico di Milano, and for one year in
New York City, studying at FIT.

ELIGIBILITY FOR ACADEMIC YEAR
IN MILAN

Acceptance in
the
BFA Degree Program (3rd or 4th year)
All students must receive departmental approval, have
completed all AAS degree requirements and be accepted
into the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree program.

Students must have a minimum 3.0 grade point
average.

Students must have one semester of Italian.
