WINTER 2010 COURSES

FIT Winter Abroad courses are currently offered in:

1. Istanbul, Turkey
2. Florence, Italy
3. Puerto Rico
 

To participate in a winter study abroad course, applicants must complete an online application, receive approval by the faculty member teaching the course and make timely payments of both the non-refundable application fee and first deposit. Non-FIT students must also submit a transcript of all college work, a brief statement regarding their interest in the course, and an academic recommendation to FIT's Office of International Programs. Winter courses are offered for academic credit.

2010 Location: Istanbul, Turkey, with more than 44,000 companies manufacturing textiles and apparel, turkey is an important player in international trade. In this field trip, students will learn about turkey's past and present and visit textile, apparel, and jewelry factories, museums, and universities.

Prerequisite: IT 111 (1 Sem College level Italian) or Equivalent, Permission of Instructor.
