SUMMER/WINTER APPLICATION AND INSTRUCTIONS

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Carefully read and follow the instructions below. Your application is complete and will be considered only when items 1-4 have been completed. Students are responsible for following up on all required payments and documentation:

 

CURRENT FIT STUDENTS:

  1. Short-Term Application:
    The Office of International Programs will begin preparing for your study abroad course after you have submitted the online application.
     

  2. Approval Form:
    a. A signature from the assigned instructor must be obtained for your summer or winter course participation approval.
    b. Your signature is also required after you have read and agreed to the written terms found therein.
     

  3. The completed and Signed Approval Form and a Copy of the information page of a Valid Passport, must be submitted to B119. This will assist in organizing the flight/accommodation arrangements.

    Internship courses AC424/FM491 may require references, mandatory attendance to a scheduled mandatory session and an interview before receiving participation approval. If so, an appointment must be arranged to see the instructor teaching the course.
     

  4. Application Fee + 1st Deposit
    After submitting the signed approval form to the Office of International Programs, the $60.00 application fee and $200.00 1st Deposit must be paid at the Bursar's Office (B127)
     

NON-FIT STUDENTS:

In addition to the instructions above, be sure to complete the following:

  1. An unofficial transcript of all college work from your university.

  2. Complete the Non-Degree Enrollment Form.

 


ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Fashion Merchandising and Advertising Communication Design courses (FM 226, FM 491 & AC 424) may require a resume, cover letter and/or other documentation. The assigned instructor will provide complete details during a scheduled information session.

     
 
       
     

PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS & CANCELLATION POLICY:

Do not delay! After the signature of participation approval is obtained, the Application Fee and First Deposit toward the Summer/Winter course must be paid on time. These payments will assure and guarantee your flight, accommodation and applicable ground transportation arrangements.
