Summer
abroad courses are offered in England, France, Italy and Spain. To register for a
summer study abroad course, students must first contact the professor teaching
the course for an interview in person or by phone. The student is also required to
obtain the
professor's signature of approval for acceptance. In addition to the steps
above, non-FIT students must submit a
transcript of all college work, a brief statement regarding their interest in
the course, and an academic recommendation to FIT's Office of International
Programs.
As summer programs are offered for academic credit, students are required to pay
FIT tuition charges as well
as the Program Cost. Food and incidental expenses are also additional.
