Your application will be considered only when it is complete, on or before, the program deadline date. You are responsible for submitting all of the following items listed below.

COMPLETED APPLICATION FOR SEMESTER ABROAD:

Carefully read and follow the instructions below. Your application is complete only when items 1-3 have been submitted. Students are responsible for following up on all required documentation:

  1. Online Application The Office of International Programs will begin your application file after you complete the online application, motivational statement, and provide the names of two faculty references.

The Statement may be no longer than 200 words and explain why you want to study abroad, your academic and personal expectations, and your ability to adapt and appreciate new cultural experiences.

  2. DARS Audit After completing the online application, a most recent and 'printer-friendly' version of the student DARS Audit must be submitted to B119.

  3. References Print two (2) faculty reference forms and have them completed by instructors familiar with your work.

Students must retrieve each reference from the instructor, in a sealed envelope with the professor’s signature across the seal and submit to B119. Students are responsible for the submission of their references.

  4. Interview/Academic Advisement: Soon after the program deadline date, and only when your application has been completed, you will be contacted via email to arrange an appointment with your Academic Advisor for an interview and academic advisement.

Students are responsible for reviewing their own DARS audit and become familiar with which requirements they need to complete before their interview/academic advisement; students must provide comparable and/or possible courses they wish to study abroad during their academic advisement. Course descriptions from the school they wish to study abroad must also be provided.

    During the interview,
