For Students Accepted to Attend FIT in Florence or Milan:

A.

1. Visa Check-Off List: Take a few moments and read each step carefully.

 

2. After reviewing the check-off list above, print the following forms.

 

a. Visa Application

Find an Italian Consulate:

 

1. US Citizens within the assigned NY Jurisdiction must submit all documentation to the Office of International Programs, Rm. B119. Students with US Citizenship and in the New York, NY Jurisdiction, may be represented by their study abroad advisor.
 

2. JURISDICTION for the Italian Consulate in New York, NY:

The Italian Consulate located in New York, NY will only accept applications from residents of the States of New York, Connecticut and the following New Jersey Counties: Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Morris, Passaic, Sussex, Union, Warren.

Students enrolled full-time at a University located in the New York, NY jurisdiction meet the residence requirement.
 

 

3. Find your jurisdiction within the US:

For Students Accepted to AUR/LdM through the College of Staten Island:

 

US Citizens must submit all documentation to CSI.

After you have obtained a student visa, a Permesso di Soggiorno (PDS [Permit to Stay in Italy]) is mandatory. Assistance with the PDS Application will be provided upon arrival to Italy.
