Immunization Requirements
The New York State Legislature has passed legislation requiring certain immunizations (MMR and Meningitis) for college and other post-secondary students enrolled for at least six (6) semester hours or the equivalent per semester.
Applicants should consult parents, doctors, a former school nurse, or a public health clinic to obtain copies of their immunization records.
Failure to meet the following requirements (I. MMR and II. Meningitis Survey) will prevent applicants from registering:
I. Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) In order to attend classes, students must provide proof of immunity against measles, mumps, and rubella. Students born prior to January 1, 1957 are exempt from these requirements and must provide proof of date of birth (i.e. driver's license, passport).

If you cannot obtain proof of your immunization, the Health Services provide the MMR immunization. If you do not wish to take the MMR immunization, you can have a blood test to see if you have acquired and maintained immunity. This blood test is available at the Health Services at a cost. II. Meningitis NY State Public Health Law §2167 requires that all college and university students enrolled for at least six (6) semester hours or the equivalent per semester provide information regarding meningococcal disease and vaccination(s).
