PLACEMENT TESTS REQUIREMENTS:

Students are required to take the English, Arithmetic, and Algebra placement tests in order to be placed at the appropriate level. Based upon placement test scores, some students are required to take developmental courses in Educational Skills (ES) or Math (MA) in addition to the general requirements. Placement tests are waived for students showing SAT scores of 530 or higher in verbal, and 520 or higher in math (620 or higher in math needed to waive Algebra placement test).

If you have been admitted into a one-year degree program because you have transferred in the required liberal arts courses, double check to make sure you have also met your arithmetic proficiency and English requirements for graduation.
