Please contact Communications and External Relations when producing any promotional material
for the web or when representing FIT on the web in any way.
Communications and External Relations advises many areas of the college on web-related matters
from online advertising to image-rights management to podcasting.
The office will work with you to ensure that your web
project adheres to college standards and that it's messaging
supports the college's strategic goals.
Main Site
Communications and External Relations produces and develops the main FIT web
site,
http://www.fitnyc.edu.
Most of its daily maintenance is done within the office. Each year, in collaboration with vice presidents
and division heads, new web
projects are selected that serve the college’s overall strategic
marketing and recruitment goals. For more information on how

InsideFIT
InsideFIT,
http://insidefit.fitnyc.edu, is an intranet available only to FIT faculty and
staff, housing college announcements, memos, policies, etc. To have content posted to
InsideFIT, please email it
as an attachment to
insidefit@fitnyc.edu. We require that content is
provided in MSWord format. PDFs are not allowed on InsideFIT,
with the exception of forms.
InsideFIT is available from off-campus. Go to
http://insidefit.fitnyc.edu and follow the login
directions
here.
MyFIT
MyFIT is the college's portal at
http://myfit.fitnyc.edu available to all FIT students,
faculty, staff, and administrators. New channels and content
are being developed and will be added on an ongoing basis.

The Office of Communications and External Relations and IT for FIT
support individual and departmental publishing to the Web on
www3.fitnyc.edu. This process allows departments, student
organizations, and individual faculty and staff members to
self-publish Web pages on college servers.
