Marion Levine will present an F2F with Al Romano: This is Not Your Father's Oral Communication Skills!  The F2F is scheduled for Thursday, May 11 from 12-1 in the CET.

 

Stan Solomon will present an F2F with Esther Oliveras of Faculty Services: The Promotion Process at FIT.  the F2F is scheduled for Tuesday, May 2 from 1-2 in the CET.

 

Michael Hyde was awarded a Walter E. Dakin fellowship to participate in the Sewanee Writer's Conference.

 

Amy Lemmon will present a paper on Louise Bogan on a panel, "Ain't Misbehavin': Women and Form" at the West Chester University Poetry Conference in June. Her essay "Famous Poets and Other Oxymorons: A Review of Lucia Perillo's Luck Is Luck" appears in the current issue of New Letters.

 

Michael Hyde's collection What Are You Afraid Of? was published (U of North Texas Press) just in time for the holiday season.  Michael is also our Acting Writing Coordinator.

 

Barbara Janoff is on leave to complete her textbook The Designers' Guide to Business Writing; she is currently on sabbatical to complete this textbook.

 

Mark Golubow's new book It’s All About Nuts & Berries:Stories of Everyday Life from College Students has been published.

 

Amy Lemmon’s poems, “Disclaimer,” “Saint Nobody,” and “Scar,” appear in the Winter 2005 issue of Prairie Schooner. Her poem “Karyotype” was nominated for a Pushcart Prize by the editors of Barrow Street.  She has also contributed entries on Bob Holman, Allison Joseph, and Lucia Perillo to the recently published Greenwood Encyclopedia of American Poets and Poetry.

CeCe Mikell gave a CET F2F Presentation on Managing Classroom Disruptions on Thursday, February 9.
