The Counseling Center

Each year, hundreds of students come to the FIT
Counseling Center for assistance with personal and
academic concerns. There is no problem that is “silly”
and no problem that is “too small.” In fact, we encourage
students to contact us when concerns are beginning to
emerge, as problems left untreated or unresolved can
become much larger and affect your personal and
academic well-being.

Some of the personal concerns you may want to discuss:

• Stress Management
• Relationships
• Family
• Academic Performance
• Adjustment to FIT, NY & US
• Eating & Body Image Concerns
• Loss of Loved One
• Organizing and Managing Time
• Study Skills
• Disabling Conditions
• Alcohol & Drug Use
• Sexuality
