A piece of fine sandpaper (for sharpening conte crayons
A ruler
Vine charcoal
Compressed charcoal
Black India ink
Brown India ink (umber, sepia, burnt sienna)
Watercolors
Watercolor brushes (or bamboo brush)
Plastic dishes/cups or mixing paint
A container for water
