The Power of Display and Exhibit Design-

What makes a product sell? The way it's displayed! You'll
learn professional techniques to create two- and
three-dimensional displays with actual merchandise,
materials, and props. The course also includes some great
field trips to see store windows, interiors, and showrooms.

Designing Exhibits for Museums, Zoos, and Other Fun Places
Learn the techniques used by exhibition designers to create
environments and installations for museums, galleries, zoos,
and science centers. Study the use of graphics and the
incorporation of interactivity while creating your own
gallery installation.

Store Planning
Design an original boutique or specialty store from the
ground up. Basic drafting and spatial planning techniques,
decorating for retail, and how brand names evolve into
marketing images are all covered in this course. Your final
project will be the construction of a small store model and
the creation of a marketing kit.
HDE 125
Digital Photography: Basics and Beyond
Learn how to purchase and use a digital camera, how to
photograph your displays and artwork, and how to save,
manipulate, and output images. This course teaches you to
edit your images using Adobe Photoshop.
HDE 140
The Art of the Party
Throwing a great party is no accident; it's an art. In this
course, you'll learn the principles and practices of party
planning, including how to design themes, table settings,
invitations, and décors for special occasions.
