1. PREPARE FOR COLLEGE
         Do you need help in creating a portfolio, learning to sew,
         or in choosing a college or career path? FIT's Precollege
         Programs will prepare you to apply to art and/or design
         colleges while you explore potential majors.

2. EXPERIENCE COLLEGE
         Before you spend money on a college tuition, don't you
         want to be sure the college you choose is the right one for
         you? Sample FIT's courses, professors, and campus before
         making that tuition commitment! 

3. NEW FRIENDS
          You'll make friends with like-minded students from all over
          the Tri-State area (and in the summer, all over the world)!
          Meet interesting people and develop relationships with new
          friends you'll keep throughout college and beyond.

4. UNIQUE CLASSES
           You can study fine arts, fashion, textiles, accessories,
           international trade, styling, photography, computer graphics,
           the list goes on and on. FIT has lots of unique classes that
           will teach you skills and techniques you'll use throughout
           your career. If you have a hobby you love, we'll help you
           cultivate that, too. All are welcome!

5. EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
    ARE A MUST FOR COLLEGE!
          What will you put on that college application to show you are
          a serious student and an exceptional candidate? Many colleges look for extra-
          curricular activities and unique experiences in their applicants. FIT Precollege 
          Programs will provide you with a transcript and Certificate of Completion that you
          can include in your college applications.
