SUPPLY LIST

REQUIRED SUPPLIES FOR THE FIRST DAY OF CLASS:

• 18 x 24 all purpose paper pad. White. Drawing or sketch.

• Graphite Pencils (HB, 3B, 6B)

• Vine Charcoal (soft or medium)

• Compressed charcoal (soft)

• Small container of black ink

• Plastic cup for paint/water

• 1" or 3/4" wide brush
   

SUPPLY LIST (to be discussed in the first class- do not bring):

• Additional paper: 1 or 2 sheets, 18 x 24, choose from gray, black, or another = color. You may also use brown Kraft paper

• Inexpensive small tube of black & white Acrylic paint

• Conte crayons: red or sepia, black, white

• Charcoal pencil black and white (medium)

• Erasers: kneaded; art gum, pink pearl, and/or plastic

• A chamois, and stumps

• Sharpeners

• Japanese/Chinese ink brush

• A very small set of kids watercolors (cheap)

• Ball point pen

• Sharpie permanent ink pen - fine point

• Korn's litho crayon no.1 soft

Optional:

• Fixative or hairspray to fix drawings -- to be used in spray room or outdoors only

• oil pastels or pastels

• colorful markers

• set of color pencils

• more acrylic paint

• a large roll of paper
