Supply List for first day of class:

  • 2 fashion/movie magazines (Harper'ss Bazaar, Vogue, Elle are good choices because of their large, better quality photos (People, Seventeen, and Lucky)

Additional Supplies for the remainder of the course:

  • 15" 20" piece of Black Illustration Board. Buy at least 3 boards. ($1.75 ea.)

  • 1 piece of black foam core 3/16th of an inch. ($1.75 ea.)

  • One cloth FDB portfolio, approximately 17" x 22". ($6.99 ea.) You can buy a less expensive orange cardboard or plastic portfolio you already have.

  • One sheet of duo tac paper ( mounting fabrics) ($4.99 ea.)

  • 3 or 4 sheets of Studio Tac ( mounting photos)

  • 3 round glue sticks ($2.00 ea. for 3)

  • 1 X-acto or matte knife with new blades ($3.25 and up)

  • 2 pairs of scissors, one marked for fabric cutting, and 1 for paper ($1.79 ea.)

  • 1 right angle, 45 x 90 degree plastic triangle or 30 x 60 x 90. ($2.29)

  • Assorted decorative colored or printed papers ($.55 ea.) Purchase when needed depending on weekly projects)

  • 1 roll of scotch tape ($1.49) and 1 roll of double-sided scotch tape ($2.25)

  • An assortment of fabric swatches (approx. 2" x 2")

  • Paint samples and chips from paint store for color.

  • Colored tapes for to highlight board.

  • pencils, magic markers

  • Small self-healing cutting mat ($4.75)

  • Safety glasses (clear) ($2.99)
