WHAT ARE THE
ATTENDANCE AND LATENESS POLICIES
FOR PRECOLLEGE PROGRAMS?
REPORT
AN ABSENCE FOR ALL PROGRAMS:
ALL STUDENTS MUST REPORT ANY ABSENCE TO THE
PRECOLLEGE OFFICE BY DIALING 212-217-4630
AND PRESSING OPTION 4: REPORT AN ABSENCE.
You will
need to leave the student's name, birthday,
and reason for the absence with our
attendance coordinator or on our voicemail.
ATTENDANCE POLICY FOR
SATURDAY/SUNDAY/SUMMER LIVE:
Absences:
A
student may not miss more than three
classes. Three or more absences may
result in a reduction of grade or a WA
(Withdrawal/ Incomplete).
There are no “excused absences.”
All students
are required to sign in at each class
session to be marked as “present.”
It is the responsibility of the student to
email the instructor for any missed or
make-up assignments.
Lateness:
Students arriving more than ten
minutes late to class must sign-in at the
Center for Precollege Programs office in
room D-130. Students who arrive late and
miss their class trips will be reassigned to
another class on campus for the day.

VACATION WORKSHOPS:
Absences:
A
student may not miss more than ONE
class. Two or more absences will
result in a grade of "F".
There are no “excused absences.”
All students
