FIT USERNAMES AND PASSWORDS
 

In order to enroll in Precollege Programs using our online system, you will need a *current FIT username and password. Click here to get your current FIT username and password. 

The default FIT username is your name in all lowercase letters using the following format:  
firstname_lastname (Example: mary_smith)

The default FIT password is your birthday using the following format:  Monddyyyy (Example: Apr141992)

*Students who attended previous semesters will need to complete a form notifying our office that you wish to reactive your username and password for the current semester, otherwise you will not have full access to all systems required for registration, payment, etc... Click here for the form.

HOW TO CHANGE or RESET YOUR PASSWORD*
*Passwords expire every 120 days.

Go to the MyFIT login page; https://myfit.fitnyc.edu
Here you can reset, change your password or set your security questions (look for the box below). 

Your new password MUST have the following:

·         At least six (6) characters

·         At least one (1) capital letter

·         At least one (1) lowercase letter

  At least one (1) number

EXAMPLES:
           July1980
           FIT4ever

·         NOTE:
*All passwords are case sensitive - “PassWord” is different from “password”

*Your new password must be different from your current password                   
For password assistance 24/7 you may call 7-HELP (212) 217-4357. For password assistance over the phone you must provide your @number or answer a password security question; if you have set your security questions prior to your call.
