Pet Products Portfolio Development: Design to Marketing This summer participants took their creativity and fashion-related design know-how in a hot new direction by developing a portfolio perfect for entering the pet apparel and product arena. This intensive featured a complete education on the expanding pet market as well as encouraged the development of individual portfolios featuring market ready ideas in apparel and accessories –for dogs or cats. Visits included some of NYC’s most successful and chic pet emporiums for inspiration as participants learned the fundamentals of good product design. Sketching out their ideas, brand images were created and successful pet world guest speakers talked about marketing and manufacturing possibilities.
