Fall 2008 Pet Fashion Week
Friday-Sunday, August 22-24
This Fall, the CPS participated in Pet Fashion Week, the
high-profile tradeshow and designer platform where design awards, special events
and runway shows thrilled the crowd. Held at the Metropolitan Pavilion and
Altman Building, FIT's presence was felt. The CPS exhibited student work from
our Pet Product Design and Marketing Certificate as well as the FIT contestant's
projects for the Swarovski "Dog in the City" challenge.

This June the CPS held its 10th annual
professional development certificate program. Over 100
certificates were awarded in the Color Specialist, Fashion
Events Planning, Fashion Styling, Image Consulting, Product
Development Essentials, Retail Advancement Essentials and
Wardrobe Technician Specialist
programs.
