The Teaching Institute is FIT's internal funding entity for faculty
development. The program is designed to help faculty pursue their professional
goals as teachers artists, designers, practitioners and scholars. By awarding
funding for proposals, the program seeks to foster excellence and innovation in
the teaching/learning process. The program is administered through the Office of
Academic Affairs and applications are reviewed by the Teaching Institute

submissions are:
September 14, 2009 (Meeting Date: September 24)
November 16, 2009 (Meeting Date: November 24)
February 8, 2010
April 19, 2010 (This deadline applies to projects through September, 2010.)
