Teaching Institute

Welcome to the ANGEL@FIT web page. This page provides important information and resources for faculty using FIT's Angel course management system.

Please note: The upgrade to Angel version 7.3 has been completed and all systems appear to be operating well. With the new version there is some important information to be aware of.

  1. Web Browsers: Firefox 2.0 or 3.0 and Internet Explorer are the only approved browsers. Until FIT updates to Explorer 7 you must use Firefox for all Angel activities.
  2. For faculty new to Angel there is a new up to date guide that can be downloaded here.  Angel 7.3 Overview
  3. If you have an Angel login that contains - FIT it will no longer work, use your FIT username and password or call 7HELP.
  4. Course Enable has a new procedure due to a system bug. Download this very short PDF to guide you. Angel 7.3 Course Enable
  5. If you or your students have low speed or dial-up access to the internet try the PDA interface which should help speed up navigation a brief tutorial can be downloaded here.  Angel 7.3 Low Speed
  6. File size limits: Faculty 20MBs, Students 10MBs per file.

The CET offers Angel training at all levels to address and support faculty needs. Please bookmark this page and check it periodically for updates that will support your efforts to use and deploy Angel in the classroom.  We recognize that managing course materials and techniques is an on-going process. Please stop by the CET anytime to discuss your needs or to schedule an orientation session, additional support or training.
