Dear colleagues:

Welcome to the Adjunct Advocate! This convenient new on-line resource seeks to serve the needs of part-time faculty at FIT. The site will always be a work in progress. We look forward to hearing from you and learning what additional features might be of special interest to you.

Please explore. Currently, you can send e-mail, link to internal as well as external resources, view videos and pod casts and print materials to support your teaching. In the near future, we will add discussion and video-conferencing on topics such as teaching strategies, curriculum, classroom management and the role of technology in teaching and learning. One link of special interest is the CET's web site: http://www3.fitnyc.edu/cet. Here you will find items such as a calendar of current CET faculty development events, generally held in B502, and faculty news. Please select your area of interest by clicking on a topic in the navigation bar to the left.
