CAREER COUNSELING

 

Career counselors are available to meet with students and alumni regarding career-related issues.  Students must be currently registered for a credited class or classes at FIT in order to utilize the career counseling services. 

Career counseling is available through the Walk-In service or by appointment.

CAREER COUNSELING WALK-IN SERVICE

We invite you to walk-in and meet with a career counselor on a first-come first-serve basis, with no appointment necessary, to have quick questions answered or to receive guidance on the following:          

• Resume and cover letter writing

• Job opportunities

• Interviewing preparation

• Freelance opportunities

• Salary negotiation

• Career and job exploration

• Labor market information

• Career decision making

Monday through Friday from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

To work with a career counselor in a more in depth manner, you are encouraged to make an appointment with a career counselor to discuss your needs.

To schedule an appointment, please fill out and submit the form, below, and you will be contacted to set up an appointment.  Please be aware that appointments are typically available between the hours of 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P. M., Monday through Friday.
