Ross Stores Company Information Session

The FIT Career Services department invites you to attend an information session presented by Ross Stores’ recruiters on Thursday, October 15, 2009, 5:00 – 6:00 PM.  The presentation will take place in the A Building, 8th Floor.

Two FIT graduates will speak about their jobs as a buyer and planning manager for Ross Stores, and the internship program for students will be discussed.

Come and hear from FIT alumnae about their roles in a booming business.  This is your chance to meet face-to-face with a recruiter, as well.

Summer Design Internship and Apprenticeship Information

Reebok hosts a Design Internship program that provides paid internships in Apparel, Footwear and Color/Graphics teams.  Students who are studying Product, Industrial, Fashion / Apparel, Graphic, Illustration and Transportation design disciplines are encouraged to apply.  Students work for 10 weeks and function as a design assistant.  The deadline for applying to this position is February 27, 2009.

This year Reebok is beginning a second program specifically designed for new college graduates – the Design Apprenticeship Program.  This is a one-year, paid program runs from August 2009 – July 2010 and has positions available in Apparel, Footwear and Color/Graphic teams.  Students who are studying Product, Industrial, Fashion / Apparel, Graphic, Illustration and Transportation design disciplines and have graduated from December 2008 through May 2009 are encouraged to apply.  As a Design Apprentice, graduates will function as a design assistant / junior designer in the department and will gain valuable experience on how a global design organization works.  The deadline for applying to this position is March 6, 2009.
