RE: Bi-Tech Workflow PR Model Change

We have created a new purchase request workflow model in Bi-Tech to increase performance and speed  of workflow items.  As of Wednesday, July 29th, all new requisitions will be processed using the ‘Purchase Request-6’ workflow model.   Any requisitions or vouchers that were created prior to July 29th will be processed in the ‘Purchase Request-5’ workflow model.  You can switch the workflow model version by selecting it from the Model/Version drop down in “Task List Items Awaiting Processing” (see link).

The ‘Purchase Request-6’ workflow model increases performance and speed  of workflow items.   For example, the “Requisition Approval Status report” now runs significantly faster than the previous version.  Additionally, the Task List will load faster, which fixes the time out error some were receiving when trying to approve through the task list.

Please check for requisitions to approve in both versions starting Wednesday, July 29th.  

How to change Bi-Tech Workflow model version (example):

In the ‘Task Items Awaiting Processing‘ section (top left corner of the task list) select the workflow model version from the Model/Version dropdown.
